BETH LINDENBERGER BIOGRAPHY


Beth Lindenberger has worked as a professional artist for over 30 years. Making and exhibiting primarily sculptural ceramic forms, Lindenberger holds a BFA in ceramics from the University of Akron. In addition to their studio practice and teaching pottery at the CVAC since 1986, Lindenberger has taught ceramics and 3D design at the University of Akron and has also taught at Kent State University’s Stark Campus as well as Cuyahoga Community College. They have served as an artist in residence at several schools.

Lindenberger’s piece, “Seedscape: Black and White”, was featured in Ohio Craft Museum’s “Best of 2017” exhibition and was featured in an edition of Ceramics Monthly magazine. A large-scale public work of Lindenberger’s can be seen at the Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center in Peninsula.
