INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED with Mo Mosyjowski – This class is designed to help students develop their own language in art. Students will have the opportunity to make new or revisit previous projects in this open studio environment. Different mixed media techniques/projects will be demonstrated in each class, students have the choice to take part in projects or work independently. Each class will end with a critique.
Mary “Mo” Mosyjowski does not like to limit a piece to one medium, but will bravely try any means possible to make the composition work. She has experience in watercolor, acrylic, collage, oil, batik, Gelli Plate Printing and more. She has taught private students and workshops since 2006 on altered books, Pysanka (Ukrainian egg decoration) using a batik method of wax and dye and also done presentations on Gelli Plate Printing. Mo teaches the Discovery of Art class and Paint Parties at CVAC. Her abstract works have won many art show awards and she won the People’s Choice Award at the Summit Art Space Kaleidoscope Show for her altered book of self-portraits.
