Early Bird Plein Air Camp

Middle – High School Students

June 15th – 19th     9:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Painting and drawing outdoors & on-site just as the Impressionists did! Students will explore chalk pastel, acrylics, and watercolor along with improving upon sketching and drawing from life in nature! A final exhibition for family and friends at 11:00 AM on the Friday of camp. All materials included in cost of the camp. Dress for a mess! This is a wonderful way to start building your college portfolio! $120

Elementary students include students going into 2nd grade through 5th grade. Middle – High School students are going into 6th – 12th grade (ages 12-18). Art Adventures Camp Round One & Round Two are not consecutive. A $25.00 Deposit is due upon sign-up. Class Size is LIMITED.

Instructor Biography

Chelby Benson is a Visual Art Educator for Woodridge Local Schools. She enjoys working with students of all ages to facilitate their growth in art techniques and creative thinking.  She considers herself a ceramic artist and loves to dabble in paint and mixed media.  Chelby is also known for her theatrical set designs and specialty painting for local theaters.  Chelby is a board member at CFVAC and volunteers at local non-profits.
