The Cuyahoga Valley Art Center kicks off its 2026 exhibition schedule with its Winter Exhibition, on display from January 20 through March 5, 2026. Embracing a wide array of artistic subjects and mediums, this annual exhibit promises to captivate and inspire art enthusiasts of all backgrounds.
The Winter Exhibition requested artists to submit works, spanning across seven distinct categories: Watercolor Media, Water-Based Media, Oil-Based Media, Dry Media, Mixed Media, 3-Dimensional Media, and Photographic Media. Each category was meticulously juried, resulting in a diverse showcase of local artists.
The public is invited to participate in CVAC’s People’s Choice selection process, which shall determine a People’s Choice winner for each category. These awards give the public the chance to have their say regarding the artworks they believe deserve recognition. This voting will conclude at 6:30 pm during the Artist Reception on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 5:30-7 pm in the main gallery of Cuyahoga Valley Art Center. Patrons will have the opportunity to mingle with the artists, enjoy refreshments and hors d’oeuvres, and purchase art during this free reception.
