The Cuyahoga Valley Art Center proudly presents its annual Student & Faculty Exhibition, a long-standing tradition that highlights the remarkable creativity, dedication, and artistic growth within CVAC’s vibrant visual arts community. Showcasing works across a wide range of mediums, styles, and techniques, this exhibition reflects the shared spirit of exploration and collaboration between CVAC’s students and faculty. Admission is free and open to the public.

For decades, this exhibition has served as a cornerstone of CVAC’s programming, providing an invaluable platform for artists at every stage of their creative journey. Visitors are invited to cast their vote in the exhibition’s People’s Choice Award, made possible through the generous support of The Vijay Rastogi Memorial Fund. This fund honors the legacy of Vijay Rastogi—a beloved former board member and dedicated advocate for the arts—and provides cash prizes that recognize the outstanding achievements of our exhibiting artists.

The celebration of artistic excellence will culminate during the Artist Reception on Friday, November 20, from 5:30–7:00 PM, with awards announced at 6:30 PM. This festive evening invites guests to meet the artists, enjoy refreshments and hors d’oeuvres, and purchase original works of art. Admission to the reception is free and open to all.

This exhibition also presents the Artistic Evolution Awards, an initiative that honors students who have demonstrated significant growth and development throughout the year. Selected by CVAC’s faculty, these awards celebrate dedication, improvement, and the evolving artistic voice of our students.

THE VIJAY RASTOGI MEMORIAL FUND:
The Cuyahoga Valley Art Center (CVAC) is honored to pay tribute to the extraordinary life and contributions of Vijay Rastogi, a beloved former Board member whose passion for the arts and unwavering support for our mission left an indelible mark on our community.

Vijay Rastogi, a gifted watercolor artist and dedicated advocate for the arts, brought his artistic vision and enthusiasm to the CVAC Board of Directors for many years. His belief in the transformative power of art education inspired those around him and guided the direction of our center.

In memory of Vijay’s enduring commitment to the arts, his generous donation has been dedicated to funding awards during our annual student and faculty exhibition. These awards serve as a lasting tribute to his love for art and his desire to nurture and celebrate the skill within our community.
