For the past eight years, our classroom easels have supported thousands of artists as they explored new mediums & techniques, built confidence, and strengthened their skills. Used daily in our gallery-level classroom, these easels have been a foundational part of the CVAC learning experience.
After nearly a decade of constant use, these easels have reached the end of their lifespan. Despite years of thoughtful maintenance and repair, many have sustained significant wear and tear and are ready for retirement. Rather than continue patching equipment that has served us well, we are inviting our community to help us usher in the next generation of creative tools.
This is a small, targeted fundraiser with a big impact. By replacing these 15 easels, we will strengthen the classroom experience for more than half of our 1,300 annual students, artists who count on reliable, professional equipment to learn and grow.
Every contribution, big or small, helps put a new easel on the gallery floor and supports the next generation of artists at CVAC.
Double Your Impact — Every Gift Matched Dollar-for-Dollar
Thanks to the generosity of CVAC Board Member, Noreen Molek, every donation made to the Easel Renewal Project will be matched 100%, up to $2,000. That means:
- A $250 gift becomes $500
- A $100 gift becomes $200
- A $50 gift becomes $100
Every gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar through April 30, 2026, or until the $2,000 match is fully unlocked — whichever comes first.

PLEASE NOTE: Contributions received through this fundraiser will be directed to CVAC’s General Equipment Fund and applied toward the purchase of new classroom easels. Funds raised beyond the cost of the easels will remain in the General Equipment Fund to support future classroom equipment and facility needs. We will be accepting donations for this fundraiser until April 30, 2026.
