Stand for Art: Easel Renewal Project; Impact & Gratitude
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, the Stand for Art: Easel Renewal Project was a resounding success.
Together, we raised $10,495 in support of CVAC’s General Equipment Fund, surpassing our original goal and fully unlocking a $2,000 matching gift provided by Board President, Noreen Molek. This campaign was fueled by a shared belief in the importance of maintaining a strong classroom environment for our artists.
For the past eight years, our classroom easels have supported thousands of artists as they explored new mediums, built confidence, and strengthened their skills. With daily use, these essential tools reached the end of their lifespan. Because of this campaign, we are now able to replace all 15 easels and reinvest in the equipment that supports our learning community every day.
More than half of our 1,300 annual students rely on the gallery-level classroom. These new easels will directly enhance their experience — providing stability, reliability, and a professional environment where artists of all skill levels can continue to grow and create.
Just as importantly, this effort strengthened our General Equipment Fund, ensuring that CVAC can continue to proactively maintain and improve the tools and spaces that serve our community.
This project is a reflection of what is possible when artists, supporters, and community members come together with a shared purpose.
Thank you to the individuals and organizations whose generosity is helping equip the next generation of artists at CVAC.
