This juried exhibition displays a collection of realistic & abstracted portrayals of flowers, landscapes, cityscapes, seascapes, and skylines. The juror Jessica Lofthus selected the First-Place, Second-Place, Third-Place, and Honorable Mention awards.
Visitors will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite pieces, the winner of the People’s Choice votes will receive a $75 award to Cheap Joe’s Art Supplies.
Awards will be distributed as the winners are celebrated during the Floral & Landscapes Exhibition reception on July 9th 5:30-7:00 PM. Patrons will have the opportunity to mingle with the artists, enjoy refreshments and hors d’oeuvres and purchase art during this free reception. Awards will be announced at 6:30, as well as the People’s Choice Award Winner.
Juror Biography: Jessica Loftus
Jessica Lofthus is a 3rd generation painter, who grew up surrounded by traditional landscape painters in New Mexico. She has been holding a brush since she was 8 years old and has obtained her degree in painting from the University of Texas. She is the curator for Western Reserve Hospital & the Mustard Seed Cafe and has previous experience as an art juror.
