CALL FOR ENTRIES: Student & Faculty Exhibition
DATES: October 6 – 7, 2023
LOCATION: CUYAHOGA VALLEY ART CENTER – MAIN GALLERY
The Cuyahoga Valley Art Center (CVAC) seeks to showcase the talents of participating artists who took a class or workshop at CVAC in 2023. All art mediums are encouraged. CVAC will be accepting submissions on Friday, October 6 from 10-3 PM and Saturday, October 7, from 10-2 PM. Students can enter one piece into this non-juried exhibition for $10. Due to size constraints and limitations, the CVAC may need to limit the number of submissions.
This popular annual exhibition opens on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, kicking off the People’s Choice selection process. CVAC invites the public to participate in its People’s Choice voting process that shall determine two winners. Each winner shall receive a $50 cash prize supported by the Vijay Rastogi Memorial Fund. Faculty members will be selecting up to two honorable mentions from their students who submit pieces. Winners will be announced and celebrated at the Artist Reception to be held on November 17, 2023, 5:30 -7 PM. Patrons will have the opportunity to mingle with the artists, enjoy refreshments and hors d’oeuvres, as well as purchase art during this free reception.
