CALL FOR ENTRIES: Student & Faculty Exhibition
DATES: October 6 & 7, 2022
LOCATION: CUYAHOGA VALLEY ART CENTER – MAIN GALLERY
The Cuyahoga Valley Art Center (CVAC) seeks to showcase the talents of participating artists who took a class or workshop at CVAC in 2021 or 2022. All art mediums are encouraged. CVAC will be accepting submissions on Friday, October 7th from 10:00 – 3:00 PM and Saturday, October 8th from 10:00 – 2:00 PM. Students can enter one piece into this non-juried exhibition for $10, CVAC will be accepting approximately 70 hanging images.
This popular annual exhibition opens on Tuesday, October 11th kicking off the People’s Choice selection process. They invite the public to participate in its People’s Choice voting process that shall determine two winners. Each winner shall receive a $50 cash prize supported by the Vijay Rastogi Memorial Fund. Participating faculty members may select up to 2 honorable mentions from participating students. Winners will be announced and celebrated at the Artist Reception to be held on November 18th 5:30 -7:00 PM. Participants are encouraged to invite their family and friends to this event to celebrate their artistic journey. Participants may take their artwork home at the conclusion of this reception.
