CALL TO ARTISTS:
Student & Faculty Exhibition
Take in: October 8 10:00-3:00 PM / October 9 10:00 – 2:00 PM
CVAC is looking to showcase the talents of participating artists who took a class or workshop at CVAC in 2020 or 2021. All art mediums are encouraged. CVAC will be accepting submissions:
Friday, October 8th from 10:00 – 3:00 PM &
Saturday, October 9th from 10:00 – 2:00 PM.
Students can enter one piece into this non-juried exhibition for $15, CVAC will be accepting a maximum of 70 hanging images.
This popular annual exhibition opens on Tuesday, October 12th kicking off the People’s Choice selection process. We invite the public to participate in our People’s Choice voting process that shall determine four winners. Each winner shall receive a $50 cash prize supported by the Vijay Rastogi Memorial Fund. Faculty members will be selecting up to 3 honorable mentions from their students who submit pieces. Winners will be announced and celebrated at the Artist Reception to be held on November 19th 5:30 -7:00 PM. This will be a wonderful opportunity to catch up with your fellow classmates and instructors. We encourage participants to invite their family and friends to this event to celebrate their artistic journey.
