CALL TO ARTISTS: Winter Exhibition

CVAC is looking to showcase the talents of participating artists during these chilly winter months. The subject matter of the artwork does not have to be related to winter. CVAC is simply seeking to reveal the breadths of interests and investigations from our participants’ recent paintings, sculptures, ceramics, and works on paper. CVAC will be accepting submissions on:

Friday, January 21^st from 10:00 – 3:00 PM &

Saturday, January 22^nd from 10:00 – 2:00 PM

The cost is $10 per entry; no more than 3 entries will be accepted per artist.

This popular annual juried exhibition opens on Tuesday, January 25th, and runs through March 3rd. The public is invited to visit CVAC’s gallery and participate in their People’s Choice selection process dictating 7 People’s Choice Awards, one for each of the following categories: Watercolor Media, Water Based Media, Oil Based Media, Dry Media, Mixed Media, 3-Dimensional Media & Photography. These awards give the public the chance to have their say on the artworks they think deserve recognition. This voting will conclude at 6:30 PM during the Artist Reception to be held on Friday, February 18th from 5:30-7:00 PM in the main gallery. Patrons will have the opportunity to mingle with the artists, enjoy refreshments and hors d’oeuvres and purchase art during this free reception.
