The Cuyahoga Valley Art Center (CVAC) seeks to highlight the creative abilities of participating artists throughout the winter season. The theme of the artwork is not limited to winter-related subjects; instead, CVAC aims to showcase the diverse range of interests and explorations present in recent paintings, sculptures, ceramics and works on paper created by participants. This exhibition is organized into seven distinct categories for submission: Watercolor Media, Water-Based Media, Oil-Based Media, Dry Media, Mixed Media, 3-Dimensional Media, and Photographic Media. Submissions will be accepted:
The cost is $10 per entry; no more than 3 entries will be accepted per artist.
This popular annual juried exhibition opens on Tuesday, January 21, and runs through February 27, 2025. The public is invited to participate in the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center’s People’s Choice selection process, which shall determine a People’s Choice winner for each category. These awards give the public the chance to have their say regarding the artworks they believe deserve recognition. This voting will conclude at 6:30 pm during the Artist Reception on Friday, February 14, 2025, from 5:30-7 pm in the main gallery of CVAC. Patrons will have the opportunity to mingle with the artists, enjoy refreshments and hors d’oeuvres, and purchase art during this free reception.
