It is with great pleasure that we extend a warm invitation to the Whiskey Painters of America to participate in an upcoming exhibition at the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center. This exhibit, slated from September 10 to October 24, 2024, at the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center in Ohio, promises an exceptional opportunity for WPA members to showcase their talents from all over the USA and engage with a diverse audience locally in Cuyahoga Falls.

Submissions will be accepted:

IN-PERSON:
Friday, September 6, 2024, 10-3 pm & Saturday, September 7, 2024, 10-2 pm.

*If a participant wishes to drop off submissions early, please call our front desk at 330-928-8092 to coordinate this drop-off.

BY MAIL:
August 26 – September 7, 2024

*Shipping Guidelines: Shipments should be made in REUSABLE cartons. All entries will be returned in the same cartons in which they were received. Entries must meet post office and UPS regulations and unless otherwise specified. Cartons will be returned to the UPS. CVAC recommends the use of Plexiglass for shipped pieces. Please include an entry form, a check payable to CVAC to cover entry fee, and a pre-paid return label for shipping. Mark your calendars for the Artist Reception on October 11, 2024, from 5:30 – 7 PM. This gathering offers patrons a chance to interact with artists, savor refreshments, and acquire remarkable pieces. As an added thrill, we invite all attendees to partake in our People’s Choice selection process, culminating in the announcement of three awards during the reception. Join us for an unforgettable celebration of Whiskey Painters of America’s artistic prowess.

*If you’re interested in conducting a live demonstration during the reception on October 11th, please reach out to Danielle Dieterich at director@cvartcenter.org for further details.

*CVAC also welcomes donations of unframed, matted pieces for our annual scholarship raffle. Proceeds from this raffle will benefit CVAC’s Vibrant Palette Scholarship Fund, which aims to eliminate financial barriers to art education. Your contribution will directly support the growth of our visual arts community during these challenging times.

The annual Whiskey Painters of America exhibition holds a special place in the hearts of CVAC and our local community. We eagerly anticipate your continued participation, making this event a resounding success.
