WHAT WE ACCOMPLISHED:

To support our arts community we worked diligently to reopen this summer amidst the pandemic by creating an atmosphere of safety for our students, staff and volunteers. Over the summer and fall sessions, we hosted classes & workshops for over 375 students.

To create this atmosphere of safety we;

• • Reconfigured our classroom spaces to promote social distancing
  • Added new technology to our classrooms to enhance the learning experience
  • Limited our class and workshop size to 9
  • Following rigorous cleaning protocols
  • Required everyone in our building to wear a mask at all times
  • Postponed our community exhibitions to reduce building traffic
  • Created individual art kits for our in-person children’s classes
  • Reduced our open hours and adjusted our class schedule to alleviate overheads costs
  • Canceled our in-person fundraisers to protect our patrons
  • Employed 13 of our staff members and even hired a new instructor.

All of these changes were made to create an atmosphere of safety for our students and staff. However, we cannot continue to move forward with the majority of our programing postponed, canceled, or reduced for long.
