CVAC is looking to showcase the talents of their current membership. Artwork will be arranged by media in 7 different categories for submission: Watercolor Media, Water Based Media, Oil Based Media, Dry Media, Mixed Media, 3-Dimensional Media & Photographic Media. These categories are reflective of the courses taught at CVAC in an effort to highlight the different art mediums that their members excel in.
This juried exhibition will have 7 “Best of” Category winners, 7 People’s Choice individual category winners and up to 18 honorable mentions. A juror (TBA) will select a “Best of” Category winner and up to three honorable mentions for each category. A People’s Choice Selection process, starting June 18th, shall dictate a People’s Choice Category winner for each category, to be announced at the end of the Artist Reception on July 12th.
The Best of Category winners shall receive a cash prize, to be celebrated and recognized at the Artist Reception on July 12th from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. This reception is free to the public and correlates with the Falls Downtown Fridays Taste of the Falls event.

Juror:
Kaleigh Pisani-Paige is the Curator of Collections at the Canton Museum of Art. As Curator of Collections she researches and selects artwork for the museum’s Permanent Collection, cares for that collection of currently 1500 objects, and designs exhibitions of the collection. She received her BA in Art History and MA in Museum Studies from Kent State University.
