Tom Baldwin is an international award-winning wildfowl carving artist. Baldwin has won 2nd Best in the World at the 2017 Ward World Wildfowl Carving Championship in Interpretive Division, the M & T Printing purchase award at the Canadian National Wildfowl Carving Championship, and also back-to-back best in show awards at the Wings and Water Festival.

Among other accomplishments, Baldwin received the Award of Excellence at the 2014 Kaleidoscope Exhibition, first place at the 2015 Kaleidoscope Exhibition, the best sculpture award at the 70th Annual Ohio Exhibition at the Zanesville Museum of Art, and placed top 5 runner-ups for the Akron High Arts Festival for five years in a row. Baldwin also won best of show at the 29th Annual Regional Juried Arts Show at the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center.

Baldwin has co-authored three published books, “Backyard Birds”, “Bird Habitat”, and  “Three Carving Projects for the Beginner”, published in 2018 by Ampry Publishing. Baldwin was accepted into the prestigious 2019 “Birds in Art” Exhibition at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wausau, Wisconsin. Baldwin also judges for the Ward World Wildfowl Championship, The Canadian National Wildfowl Carving Championship, Ohio Decoy Carvers and Collectors Show, and the New Brunswick Woodcarving Show.

Tom Baldwin lives in Akron, Ohio with his wife Barbara and their two dogs.
