COLORED PENCIL WORKSHOP with Sally Heston

APRIL 7th, 8th  &  14th, 15th

Member: $300                Non-Member: $350

This 4 day workshop will be structured and project oriented.  It is designed for students with little or no experience with this medium.  An overall objective of this course will be to teach students to achieve some degree of good “realism” with colored pencils.  The first weekend we will start with basic information about this medium and then move on to small, short term projects that will teach students to layer and blend and achieve a variety of effects with colored pencils.  Weekend two we will continue to develop more skill in handling the medium with one or two long, more complex, drawing projects that will give a student experience applying the techniques learned early on.

A supply list is available, and students should bring everything listed on it as well as any additional colored pencils and paper surfaces that they may have.  Class size is limited.
