For BEGINNER TO ADVANCED Levels

In this one-day workshop, participants will be making from 2 to 3 platters or plates, depending on size, using actual leaves from nature to print and form their creations. No prior ceramic experience is needed to hand-build these functional and decorative works of art. Work will be made day of the workshop, then fired and glazed by staff, before being picked up at a date to be determined. Class size limited.
Beth Lindenberger has worked as an artist for over 30 years, making and exhibiting primarily sculptural ceramic forms. Beth holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Ceramics degree from the University of Akron. In addition to her studio work and teaching Pottery at CVAC (since 1986), Beth has taught Ceramics and 3-Dimensional Design at the University of Akron, and has held adjunct faculty positions at Kent State University (Stark), and Cuyahoga Community College. She has served as the Artist in Residence at several schools. Beth’s piece “Seedscape: Black and White” was featured in Ohio Craft Museum’s “Best of 2017” exhibition and was featured in a recent edition of Ceramics Monthly magazine. A larger scale public work can be seen at the Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center in Peninsula.
