We are excited to announce the upcoming annual Membership Exhibition, a beloved tradition at the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center for over 40 years. This year’s exhibition will take place from April 27 through June 3, 2027, providing our skilled members with an exciting opportunity to display their artwork in our gallery.
To best showcase the diverse skills and creativity of our membership, the exhibition will be organized into seven distinct categories: Watercolor Media, Water-Based Media, Oil-Based Media, Dry Media, Mixed Media, 3-Dimensional Media, and Photographic Media. This structure allows each participant to shine within their chosen medium, creating a vibrant and inclusive display of artistic skill. We are excited to see the remarkable work you will contribute to this year’s exhibit!
CVAC will be accepting submissions on:
Friday, April 23, 10-3 PM & Saturday, April 24, 10-2 PM
The entry fee is $30 for up to 2 entries – 2027 CVAC Members only

*Artists can join CVAC and or renew their membership during the take-in by calling teh Front Desk at 330-928-8092.
The juror will have the task of selecting a Best of Category winner and up to two Honorable Mentions for each of the seven categories. Each Best of Category winner will be awarded a $100 cash prize, recognizing their exceptional artistic achievement. In addition, starting April 27th, we will open the People’s Choice Selection, where visitors can vote for their favorite pieces in each category. The People’s Choice winner in each category will receive a $50 cash prize, to be announced during the Artist Reception on May 21 from 5:30-7 pm. This reception is free and open to the public, with the People’s Choice voting concluding at 6:00 pm with the award ceremony following at 6:30 pm.
This highly competitive exhibition offers over $1,000 in prizes, making it an exciting showcase of artistic talent. We can’t wait to see what you will share with us!
